Job Description

The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for managing a diverse book of business. The AM role is essential as he/she develops and maintains the relationship with our clients and provides the first line of excellent customer service.

Duties include endorsements, answering underwriting requests, rounding out and up-selling accounts, renewing policies including surplus lines, renewal proposals, answering billing questions, audit disputes, and processing cancellations/reinstatements.

Requirements – Applicants Must:
  • Have a valid Kentucky Property & Casualty license and have at least one year of Commercial Account Management experience
  • Be ethical, professional, intelligent, personable, highly motivated, energetic, and responsible
Possess the Following Skills:
  • Critical thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Organization
  • Have strong computer proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and management systems
Our Preferred Candidate Will Have:
  • Knowledge of Applied/TAM
  • Experience with Erie, Travelers, Donegal, Hanover and The Hartford’s management and quoting system
  • Designations such as CIC or CISR
