Foundation Insurance Group is an independent insurance agency founded in 1994.  We proudly represent many of the top insurance companies in the country, including Erie Insurance, Travelers, The Hartford, Philadelphia Insurance, Safeco, and Progressive.  The agency specializes in providing competitive products and personal service to individuals and a wide range of businesses with special emphasis on real estate and property management, artisan contractors, restaurants and other areas of hospitality, and party and equipment rental dealers.

The agency was selected for Erie’s “Quality Agent of the Year” award in 2001 and again in 2009.  The agency principal, John Potthast, also received Safeco’s 2008 “Community Hero Award” for his dedication to helping children with special needs.
